Tomorrow it is last day of school for Melissa. Next fall she will go to be in kindergarten at her school. This is not public school; it is a Montessori school and is part of charter program. I prefer she be in a private school, but it is way too expensive and for now I like her school. They have Pre-K to 8th grade. Melissa knows her last day of class is tomorrow.
I was reading from The Scrapping Studio Newsletter and I like the idea about Summer Resolutions and not New Year resolutions. Her Summer Resolutions are five things. For me, this is simple to keep my goals to six things that what I am going to make this summer. And it is not so hard for what your plan or what do you want to be this summer.

Summer Resolutions
1. Lots of Activity. We will try going for walks in a park as exercise every week and both of us to get active with outdoor events, but I hate summer time because it is so HOT. I want both of us to have fun that is what is more important.
2. Listen and Talk more with her. She loves to talk with me all the time. Sometimes I want to do other things around the house, but I am going to try sit down and listen to her so we can talk about anything. Least one hour a day.
3. Scrapbook every day! I'm going to start out with a minimum of an hour per day. I am trying to finish Melissa’s scrapbook. I'd like to be up to one hour per day. It will be easer in the fall when she will be in school full time.
4. Other things to do with general crafts. I want everything to be done each month with my doll making, paint, cards, and etc. from my plan. Melissa can join with me for easy crafts at the same time as I work on other projects.
5. Read and encourage reading. Melissa needs to work more on her reading, and I will be her tutor in the morning with different things that she can learn. I don’t want her spend time watching TV too long. I have to keep her busy; of course she will be allowed an hour for computer educational programs. She is good with the computer.
6. Summer HEALTH meals! My goal to keep up with good healthy meals everyday and help all of us to keep our weight down, become stronger, and look fabulous for my family.
Now you can see my simple common sense Summer Resolutions. It can change my lifestyle and will make life better in the future.
